well I dont know gabriel - I have been voted number one photographer on here and my photographs are in the top 10 in fact they ARE the top 10 photographer images. so quality does play a role - and the networking is a big bonus - I have becaome good friends with a lot of the people on here because I voted for them - try it you will see that the interaction of the good friends you get afar out weigh the simple little vote.
